FAQ About Photo

WHAT IS YOUR USUAL TURNAROUND TIME?

appx 6-8 weeks for wedding photography;
appx 4 weeks for engagement photography;
During summer, when it’s quite busy, it can take a little longer though. But I’ll always do my best not only to deliver carefully processed images but also faster than promised.

WHO WILL BE OUR PHOTOGRAPHER?

Me, Tara (Tata- my nickname throughout my childhood and still what my family continues to call me). I also know a handful of talented photographers who sometime help me as my 2nd shooters, who i can 100% count on.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?

As a rough estimate, it will be somewhere between 900 – 1200 edited images for a 10hr wedding. But to speak frankly, I don’t really care about fixed amounts of photos and neither do I commit myself to them. Just because every wedding is unique and a limited number of photos wouldn’t live up to that fact. However, you always get largely enough photos to recreate the story of your big day

HOW WILL YOU EDIT OUR IMAGES?

I edit every single one of the images given to you.  For any images that you choose to be included in your album/enlargement, I will go through them in even more details making sure any annoying blemish and obstacles are removed. HOWEVER, I don’t do much fake “photoshopping” – we LOVE natural & authentic images which is why you like my images I guess.

DO YOU PROVIDE RAW FILES?

Unfortunately I do not provide unedited images/raw files, which I believe is a pretty standard practice in this industry. If you do need any particular image in raw format (for a really special reason), you might be able to purchase that particular raw file at an agreed rate – so please talk to me first.

WHY SOME OF MY IMAGES ARE IN B&W?

I will decide to turn an image into Black & White when I believe that the emotion within an image can be expressed in a stronger way when it is in black & white. So I would appreciate if you trust my belief (based on years of experience), & not asking me to turn those images into color just because you wanted a different copy.

COULD YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN ABOUT THE TIME ALLOCATION OF PHOTOGRAPHY ON MY WEDDING DAY?

Each wedding is different, but generally here is what I normally follow:
Appx 45 mins for groom getting ready
Appx 60 mins for bride getting ready
Appx 30 mins for civil ceremony
Appx 30 mins for family/group photos post ceremony
Min 1hr for location bridal party photos
(Excluding any travel time between each locations)

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH INTERNATIONAL WEDDINGS?

Hell yea! I’m happy to travel anywhere in the world to capture the moments for you! To prove that, I’m even happy to offer reduced package prices to help you cover some travel expenses.

HOW ARE WE GOING TO RECEIVE THE FINAL IMAGES?

All the final edited images will be provided in high resolution via a personal online gallery. Each session also comes with an heirloom box and flash drive of all images in high resolution.
